The Lord Knows the Way Through Divorce

I was out in New Hampshire for a few days--tending the grandkids. While there I read a book by Joyce Meyer, entitled, "The Confident Woman". Excellent book.

Here are a couple of quotes that I feel, when looked at through the eyes of those going through divorce, can be very uplifting and encouraging:

"None of us knows for sure what the future holds. This lack of knowlege often opens the door of fear. Wondering about things we don't have answers to also opens the door to fear. Instead of wondering, trust God that whatever your future holds He will enable you to handle it when the time comes.Wherever you are going, God has already been there and paved the way for you."

"We may not know the future, but if we know the One who holds the future in His hands, we can look forward to it expectantly and without fear. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."

Such encouraging thoughts for those who are experiencing an uncertain future because of divorce. Speaking from experience, I know the Lord has a perfect plan for you. Even if many of the problems you are facing are due to your own poor judgments, He is still there stretching out His hand. Take it!
